PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Spiritual Direction is a contemplative, interspiritual practice rooted in deep listening, sacred presence, and the belief that every person carries an inner wisdom waiting to be revealed. Unity’s Spiritual Direction Certificate Program offers a two-year, fully online formation journey that nurtures both personal spiritual awakening and the skills needed to companion others on their sacred path.

Grounded in New Thought teachings of Oneness and supported by wisdom traditions from across the world’s faiths, this program blends spiritual formation, contemplative practice, mentoring, supervised practicum, and a vibrant community of learners. Students explore their own spiritual landscape in year one and learn to support the spiritual unfolding of others in year two.

Graduates are prepared to offer spiritual companionship in ministry settings, private practice, community spaces, and interspiritual environments—guided always by compassion, curiosity, and Presence.

CERTIFICATIONS, PROGRAMS, OR TRAINING AVAILABLE

  • Certificate in the Art of Spiritual Direction (Earned upon completion of the two-year program, practicum, and supervised internship.)
